Creative Documentary Photography Style
We love to tell the story of your wedding day in our distinctive, creative documentary photography style.
Photographing mostly from a distance, we capture events as they naturally unfold, stepping in only where agreed. We want you to relax and be yourselves, have a bit of fun and enjoy the experience – the images will reflect that.
Throughout the day, there are countless natural and touching moments to document, many of which you may not have seen yourself. As wedding photographers, it is vital to know when to focus on authentic, honest moments that are unaffected by us. We are constantly looking out for ways to capture the emotion of the day in a sincere and unobtrusive manner and strive to deliver an exquisite collection of vibrant images that we hope you will enjoy for many years. All of the laughter, tears and hugs are a part of your story that we would love to tell.
Relaxed Couple's Portrait Session
Throughout your wedding day, we use a candid, documentary approach to ensure all of the beautiful and authentic moments are captured. During your couple’s photography session, we like to spend around 30 minutes photographing natural and creative portraits of the two of you, all the while keeping things relaxed and free-flowing. We’re always happy to offer some direction and guidance, where required.
We realise that not everyone is overjoyed at the thought of being in front of the camera (our good selves included, hence being on this side of the lens!). We like to keep things relaxed and informal to ensure we get the best possible images from the session.

We have worked together as wedding photographers in Edinburgh, across Scotland and Internationally since 2010.
Other than our obsession with all things photography and weddings, we adore our two wonderful children and love nothing more than going on exciting new adventures together with two little Spaniels in tow. Not forgetting our complete fascination with diving, underwater filming and basically, anything that involves the ocean! Destination wedding in Antigua, anyone?
We consider ourselves incredibly fortunate that we get to do what we love every day. It’s such a privilege to meet so many wonderful people and be there to witness and document all of the love and joy on a wedding day. Nothing makes us happier than hearing from our delighted couples after they have viewed their wedding photographs. You just can’t beat the feeling!

Wedding Photographer Edinburgh Scotland: Our Approach
We always work as a team of two photographers and cover events from bridal preparations until the start of the dancing. Your wedding photographs are individually retouched and you will also receive a copy of every image edited in black and white, which are some of our favourites.
Your final image collection is presented to you within 3 to 4 weeks in a private, high-resolution online gallery with free digital downloads and a personal use licence. Luxury, hand-bound leather wedding albums are also included with some of the packages.
With the two of us there to document your wedding day, you can be confident that all of the significant events, and the fleeting moments between, will be expertly captured.
We would be delighted to talk with you about your wedding plans and are always happy to offer advice or recommendations. A pre-wedding consultation is always helpful for you to better understand how we work and for us to get an idea of how we can fit in with your plans. This can be arranged either over the phone, via video call or we can meet for a coffee to chat.
